VEGAN TAHINI COOKIES

If you are a Halvah fan, this is your cookie. If you have no idea what Halvah is, you are only allowed to get the marble version. In the meantime, makes these.

Ingredients

½ cup Tahini
¼ cup Maple Syrup
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Cinnamon
¾ cup Rolled Oats
2 tbsp (pick one) Chocolate Chips/apple juice sweetened dried cranberries/raisins/coconut Pinch of salt 

Recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium sized bowl, mix tahini, maple syrup, and vanilla until blended.
Add oats, chocolate chips (or dried fruit), cinnamon and sea salt to the tahini mixture.
Stir well to combine.
Using damp hands, roll 2 tbsp of the dough. Press to flatten slightly and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, remove from the oven and allow to cool.
